Lark and Rylan’s wedding day was nothing short of beautiful and meaningful from beginning to end. They were married at Tails Creek Baptist Church in Ellijay, Georgia—the very first church Lark’s grandfather ever pastored. The moment I walked in, I could feel the history and love wrapped into that space. It was the kind of setting that makes a wedding feel even more personal.This family holds a special place in my heart. I’ve photographed Lark since she was a little girl competing in pageants, and watching her grow into the stunning, graceful woman she is today has been such a privilege. Being invited back to capture her wedding day meant so much to me, and I couldn’t help but feel emotional seeing her walk down the aisle.
One of the most memorable moments was Lark’s first look with her dad. Fall leaves were gently drifting around them, the trees showing off their brightest colors. It was quiet, emotional, and incredibly precious. As soon as her dad turned around and saw her, his whole face softened—eyes welling up, a smile he couldn’t hold back. It was emotional in the sweetest, most genuine way.
And just a few steps back, Lark’s mom stood quietly watching. You could see everything she was feeling written all over her face—pride, love. She watched her husband see their daughter as a bride for the very first time, taking in every second of it. It was one of those small, powerful moments that made the entire day even more meaningful.. And you know they’ll cherish forever.

Rylan spent the morning with a tight-knit group of guys—his closest friends and his three brothers, and soon to be brother in law, who all stood beside him as groomsmen. The atmosphere was relaxed and easygoing, full of inside jokes, laughter, and that comfortable bond only brothers truly share.They helped him with the final touches, straightening jackets and making sure every detail was right before heading to the ceremony. It was simple, genuine, and exactly the kind of moment that shows who Rylan is—loyal, steady, surrounded by people who mean the world to him.
After the ceremony, everyone headed to a barn reception filled with warm lights, laughter, Southern charm.The entire day was full of heartfelt moments, tight hugs, and a whole lot of love. It’s always an honor to document any wedding, but photographing a family that has trusted me for so many years made this one feel extra special.
